Harry and Meta Andrews were in fellowship at Matchett Street Gospel Hall, Ballysillan Gospel Hall and Carrickfergus Gospel Hall, where for many years they served the Lord and enjoyed Christian fellowship. Although Harry was a full-time ‘bread-server’ with Ormo Bakery, for over seventy years he regularly preached the gospel message and the truth of the Bible. He was well-known as a ‘master story-teller’, often reinforcing his point with an apt illustration, delivered with both passion for the message and compassion for the listener.
It is hoped that this volume will bring these illustrations to a wider audience, so that attention will be drawn to the vital importance of the Gospel, that is Eternal Salvation through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.
A portion of the price of this book, after publication costs are met, will support the work of Ian & Marilyn Campbell at the Lusaka Bible Centre, Zambia. The two main aims of the Bible Centre are:
1. To provide affordable Bibles and good Christian literature for the use of local people.
2. To encourage people to study the Word of God, and allow His Truth to change their lives through one-to-one conversations, the Emmaus Bible Courses, and various Bible teaching sessions. We long to see people saved, and built up in their relationship with the Lord.
